Ariba is a 2 faced dog, she can be incredible funny, sweet, charming, outgoing ( she is a great singer ) but when she wears, what we call her "niffy-cap", her radar is zooming in on everything and anything. Everybody watch out.....

ASCA : HOF Pinice Creek Lightfoot Sis STDcsd

Sis is a pretty blue merle bitch. (47 cm.) Sis was born on 1 May 1998.

Just like Reba and her dad she is a enthusiastic worker.

Unfortunately we only got her when she was a 2 year old.

She missed the socializing but adjusted really well to her new environment.

She came to us when she was carrying Justus Mccain of Pincie creek's babies.

She is reserved to strangers but once they have been on the property for a while, her curiosity takes over.

She is also a great singer. In the morning she ' whoo whoos at the bottom of the stairs.

She works great with sheep, really looks at the overall picture en keeps appropriate distance.

She is still a little hesitant with cattle but together with Reba she is doing good.

She looks a lot like her mother; Slash v Bittersweet Sis.

We use her to give people the feeling of working with a natural herding dog.

Cowboy is a black bi male.40 pounds, 57 cm. Medium bone, medium coat.

Born on 7 December 1997 Cowboy is a very loyal dog. Wherever his boss is, you can find cowboy to.

For us, it took some getting used to a strong herding dog like him.

We got him when he was 6 months old. We gave him his own chores to do in the yard.

He was to bring in the chicken and ducks.

When there were baby chicks he would take them in his mouth and take them to their mama's.

He is also great in catching roosters. And holding them down without hurting them.

It is fun to see him work cows to. When challenged he'll growl and if need be nip them on the nose or heel.

He is very secure in everything he does. He once went in a trailer to bring a big bull out.

He is a great working dog as long as he can be of help.

He does not see any sense in practicing herding sheep in the pasture. Cowboy has been the sire of a few litters.

All his pups are independent workers, sometimes a little to hot for novice handlers.

FCI : Beast

In honor of my Beast

We go from one day to the next. Expecting everything will be the same tomorrow.

My dog is always at my feet, resting when I am resting,

active and ready to help, when he needs to be there.

I never had to look around for him, he was always there.

As time goes by, I hardly notice him , because I know he is there.

We achieved many things together, but in the end all that matters is he is not there anymore.

Goodbye Beast, I miss you.
